think there was so much hype leading up to np you can see lindsay lohan. that was an opening part of this thing. you saw her quickly. she said you've got to pull it together, handler, nobody will hire an alcoholic. a lot of people laughed about that. the thing people were talking about was this big rivalry between tarl swift and kanye west, was it going to play out, was it not? she had a song a lot of people said seemed was about him. >> it was to me at least my interpretation a song of forgiveness for him, kind of forgiving him. >> of course referencing when he interrupted her last year at the vmas. listen to his song, though, because a lot of people said it addressed his character flaws. this closed the show. ♪ >> so a lot of people are saying that's the end of his pop culture exile. and you should note everyone was chanting "kanye." the only standing ovation of the night. >> i'm surprised they let him close out the show, but they gave him a big spot in the show. we can't say some of those lyrics on the air he said. but basically he said i screwed up, trying to atone for that.
